The Noise

The noise I refer to is idea based and focused on sound and music. My version of noise is an itch that needs to be scratched and scratched often.  What I’ve always loved doing is to take an idea and turn it into something tangible.  By writing, recording, and performing music since 1976 I have been fortunate to keep scratching my personal itch on a regular basis.

I had enough hustle and vision to jump into the world of music computers in 1985 and have never looked back.  Some will tell you that computers have sucked the soul out of the music business and they are welcome to have their opinion.  My Mac Pro is as much of a musical instrument as my Petrof III Concert Grand piano, just different.  Trust me they work well together.

Starting in late 1995 I did have a nice six year run as an author and freelance technical writer specializing in the world of online audio.  It was a great side trip professionally and I earned while I learned all about the publishing industry.  I was kind of jazzed that my first two books were translated into Japanese and did quite well in Japan.

The next big thing is?

The Noise

Music, music technology, recording equipment, and writing have been driving passions in my life for as long as I can remember.
